Riva Luxury Yacht - Rivarama Super
The 44 foot Rivarama Super has inherited the natural elegance and comfort of the original model which led her to be called "the floating suite" and be appointed Best European Open in the 40 to 60 foot category two years running. This model has, however, been improved with new details which make her even more special.
Developed through the work of Officina Italiana Design, the exclusive designer of all the yachts in the Riva range, in association with AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology - Ferretti Group's naval research and design centre, and the team of architects and designers of Centro Stile Ferrettigroup, she features classical lines and extensive use of wood, also on the deck which has been completely covered in mahogany. These features make her the conceptual heir to the legendary Aquarama. Although she is a larger cabin cruiser, Rivarama Super maintains the class of her illustrious predecessor.
The cockpit features all the accessories which are necessary to ensure the very best in comfort: from the electro-hydraulic bimini which provides shade from the sun even when at sea, to the folding teak table which can seat up to 8 guests. Besides the spacious stern sundeck, which provides safe, easy access to the water by means of three convenient steps in non-slip treated mahogany, there is another sunpad on the foredeck with an outer profile in polished stainless steel, equipped with a mattress clad in technical material which matches the mahogany of the deck. Two skylights are located aft of the forward sunpad.
Designed as a yacht for two, Rivarama super features the innovative solution of just one Master cabin, located at bow, and offers all the comforts of a 5 star hotel, including a unique rapid cooling system for a bottle of champagne and a couple of fluted glasses. The use of valuable materials, the exquisite hand-made finishes, the excellent liveability and a top performance make Rivarama Super the ideal yacht for even the most demanding owner.
The materials used for the interiors have been completely renewed, with furnishings and walls in opaque painted oak, enriched by the use of mahogany brown leather with matching stitching in the table column, the bed runaround and the headboard.
Careful attention has also been paid to the accessories. As provided for in the standard supply, the yacht is fitted out with a leather bag especially studied to be stowed away in the large drawer located underneath the Owner's bed; in the Super version, the bag has been redesigned and produced exclusively for Riva in hand-stitched leather which matches the upholstery.
A limited edition package is also available on request, which comprises paint treatment for the mahogany coverings by means of exclusive artisan workmanship only carried out in Sarnico. This treatment creates special shading on the wood, the cockpit floor is mahogany and maple varnished with painted non-skid longitudinal strips and a contrasting metallic paint with cuts of colour for the helm station and cockpit area. The area below deck, on the other hand, can be enriched with a handwoven grey and white carpet designed exclusively for Riva.
Rivarama Super is fitted with a twin engine MAN R6 CR 6L, 800 mhp, that delivers a maximum speed of 41 knots and a cruise speed of 36 knots.
